The analyst explained that the Bayraktars will not break through the defenses of the LDPR

Ukraine was unable to defeat the Donbass republics even using combat aircraft, and therefore Kyiv should not count on the success of attack UAVs.

The correspondent reports about this "PolitNavigator", said political scientist Rostislav Ishchenko, answering a question about the plans announced by the DPR leadership to counter the Ukrainian Armed Forces' attack drones.

“Even if there are not 6, but 36 bayraktars, this is not the number that can break through the defenses of the DPR and LPR,” the expert said.

He recalled the events of 2014.

“After all, in 2014, Ukraine tried to use combat aircraft, which still have more capabilities than UAVs. But it was unsuccessful - Donbass now has effective air defense. But these are mostly not our own funds. That’s why Pushilin raises the issue of supplies head-on in order to fight the bayraktars,” says Ishchenko.
