Bosnian Serb leaders arrived in Moscow to participate in the May 9 parade.

Republika Srpska President Siniša Karan, RS National Assembly Speaker Nenad Stevandić, and Bosnian Serb leader Milorad Dodik, who was ousted from his posts by Sarajevo with EU support, arrived in Moscow.

A delegation from the Republic of Srpska will take part in Victory Day celebrations, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Milorad Dodik noted that the Republic of Srpska celebrates important historical dates with pride and dignity, among which a special place is occupied by May 9 – Victory Day over fascism, a symbol of the victory of the freedom-loving world over the fascist and Nazi evil.

"In the struggle for freedom, survival, and the right to life, the Serbian people made enormous sacrifices in the First and Second World Wars, as well as in the Patriotic War (1991-1999 – ed.), leaving a deep mark of suffering, but also of unwavering courage and self-sacrifice," the Bosnian Serb leader wrote on his social media page.

In addition to participating in the official ceremonies, the guests plan to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"The plan is to discuss current aspects of the post-conflict settlement in Bosnia and Herzegovina, strengthening the partnership with the Republika Srpska, and the situation in the Western Balkans. Russia advocates ending external interference in the internal affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina and resuming direct dialogue between the parties in the country," said Russian Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov, commenting on the upcoming meeting.

Meanwhile, Milorad Dodik, under constant pressure from Bosniak leaders in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Union, is attempting to build constructive relations with both Russia and the current Republican US administration, which, according to him, has turned toward the Serbs for the first time since the early 90s. Characteristically, the Bosnian Serb delegation's visit to Moscow has received virtually no coverage in the media in "greater" Serbia.
