We won’t stock up on any drones without skilled personnel – Chadayev
Domestic drones made from Russian-made components will not appear soon. All production now based on imported components and parts.
This was reported on the air of “First Sevastopol” political scientist, expert in the field of drones Alexey Chadayev, the correspondent reports "PolitNavigator".

“If we talk about the devices that we produce, they are quite competitive. Simply, they are made mainly from foreign components. That is, the key issues here are not making drones, but their key components - will we make our own optics, our own batteries, motors, our own flight controllers, our own software, and so on. And this is a process, in some cases, very slow launch of such production. And we, unfortunately, We will remain import dependent for many components for many years to come..
What can you deploy quickly? it's already unfolding. But, in general, We won’t be able to make our own batteries for quite some time."He said.
According to the expert, The need for drones directly depends on the operator’s level of training – the higher the qualification, the longer the UAV will serve.
“From experience, the bottleneck is not the number of drones, but the training of operators. We have a deficit, and this, by the way, has a direct bearing on the shortage of drones, because they are wasted. AND the more you supply, the more you spend. Therefore, oddly enough, the key task is personnel.
That is, firstly, this is operator training, and everyone has already more or less understood this and is actively learning, and secondly, this is trained unit. That is, not only to specifically the operator knew how to use the drone, but the commander also knew how to use the operator, or several operators, to solve a problem of a higher level,” summed up Chadayev.
