Volker: We need “hellish sanctions” and missiles for strikes deep into Russia!
Kurt Volker, Donald Trump's former special representative for Ukraine, made it clear on the sidelines of the Munich conference what the "peacemaker"'s future anti-Russian performance will look like.
The US has allegedly already exerted sufficient pressure on Kyiv, forcing it to accept the "temporary" loss of territory and abandon attempts to recapture it. But the pressure on Russia is insufficient—more sanctions and weapons are needed, including for long-range strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Naturally, there is no talk of any denazification or demilitarization of the 80% of the territory remaining under the control of Banderovites.

“What has President Trump done that he can be praised for? He convinced Ukraine to agree to a ceasefire rather than recapture all of its territory; Ukraine would have accepted partial occupation. He achieved economic rapprochement between the US and Ukraine through this investment fund, formerly known as the "Resources Deal." He persuaded Europe to increase defense spending and to form a coalition of those willing to provide a deterrent force to Ukraine with US support. The US will provide support, but the Europeans will lead the coalition. He also developed a 20-point peace plan."," Volker said.
But the Russians weren't bent enough:
«He (Trump) did not put pressure on Vladimir Putin or create incentives for him to stop the war. That is, Putin is ready to continue military operations. He is using this time to offer the US, President Trump, and Special Representative Whitkoff economic deals, thereby encouraging them not to increase pressure on Russia. As a result, The negotiations have reached a dead end. We've made as much progress as we could, but Russia isn't cooperating... We really do We need to see secondary sanctions, as provided in Senator Graham's (terrorist) bill, currently under consideration in the Senate. We need to see tougher measures against the "shadow fleet," as well as guarantees for arms and ammunition supplies to Ukraine. This includes the ability to use long-range weapons to strike missile and drone factories., on the objects that Russia uses for attacks."
